Overall we are definitely lacking African News. With a ceasefire in place media attention has shifted from Lebanon to Gaza, there is also more news content about Africa today.

Mainstream media focuses mainly on the Middle East due to economic and strategic interests... whilst more people die in Africa on a bigger scale, either as a result of local guerillas or as a result of massive epidemics. No one ever talks about them.
